My class: Using a Banshee for quick insertion/extraction. AKA: Dropping from a Banshee 50 metres above the enemies flag.
Oh, that and how to effective stop snipers using a gauss cannon, damn good way to annoy them if they can't aim 'cause their screen is shaking so much.

That banshee trick sounds awesome. Does it usually work?

not if it is the equal of 50 meters, and the only problem with the gaus trick is a)finding a sniper b)being a sitting target, unless someone is driving c)hitting accuratly if someone IS driving and yes, i realise i said only problem and listed several, dont point it out to me, btw, i mean no personal offence, but i like sticking up for snipers(mainly cause i am one)

Aye, I like sniping too, just not on Halo. The HUD is stupid, not how a sniper should be. You use the crosshairs to aim, not the reticule itself. Stupid advanced technology. If MasterChief is so bloody smart why do we have to aim for him? As for the Banshee, yes, it is my trick alone. It works really well on Coagulation by dropping through the hole in the roof. Be warned though, practice dodging rockets and abandoning ship just before the rocket hits you. Annoys the hell outta people.

Yes, Sniping well on Halo 2 doesn't require as much skill as it does for other, more comprehensive shooting games... A little practivce and you can be really good. Not saying that everyone who practises will become as good as everyone else. There are sometimes people that are naturally great at sniping, ala Jason...

I don't know whether that's neccassarily the case. It's different, not easier or harder. I find H2 alot harder to snipe in than say BF2 or SoF2:DH.
