I saw Matt and Jason discussion how a Ninjanaut Halo 2 match would toughen up some of the "n00bs" in the Clan - it got me thinking about ways to toughen up the players of H2 in our Clan... So... suggestions people! Be specific; think up creative, abnormal, challenging gametypes for all of us to try out...

How about you set the n00bs against me and matt at close range...
That'll set them straight!
Nice Gamefaqs.com review! Excuse me? poor excuse for an assault rifle? I hate the SMG, a cap gun could do mure damage than that thing! I'll use that if there's nothing else around (which there isn't)

Sounds like a great idea, Solidus ;D. We could equip them with shotguns against our shotguns. Sounds crazy but nothing teaches better than the burn of being killed 0.01 seconds after seeing the guy come around the corner. It would also teach teamwork and the value of grenades in clearing rooms (don't want shotgun wielding maniacs on the other side..) Add a bit of Nosaj controlled sniping action to keep their heads down and you've got a great way to train up 4+ n00bs on the value of teamwork.

How about this... We pit them against me in 1 vs 1 games until they win one... They'll be there a long time ;D We could have them verse Jason in sniping matches until they win, too - again, that'll probably take them a looooooong while... *swish

Of course if you make the learning curve TOO steep they will take longer to get better, and will enjoy it less, so I don't encourage equal number games.

hmm. some probs. if me and chris were on a team, that might not be so good for teamwork traning. and i think apart from that, sounds good. even the 'pro's' could have a banter in their 'weak' areas. like me and cc
