If they think they're that good at predicting the future they should be winning the lottery... I don't care from what source it's from, who says it, or where the info comes from, but I refuse to believe anyone predicting console sales that far into the future and to that degree... Especially seeing as how the console isn't even done yet...

Sounds like another typical PS2 claim: Oh, we aren't selling a gaming console, no-ho, we're selling a full entertainment system (or some such nonsense). I wonder who research firm gets their salaries paid by.

its funny, cause most of the comments about the ps2 seem to be from what we shall call fanboys, personally, i like both systems, but i do prefer the xbox for one main reason: halo seriously, that was the dam reason i bought one in the first place!

Me too, literally...I had pre-ordered Halo 2 thinking it was for PC, and when I found out it was for Xbox i was like Eek! Must get Xbox.
But yeah, both systems are good, I just happened to get an Xbox.

Ridiculous... The only way to be sure is to wait and see. These people can predict all they want, meanwhile I will be out their playing games and securing an Xbox 360 (and likely even a PS3!)... ^ridiculous

Yes, this must be accurate! I've only sampled the opinion of ONE firm, no other predictions count! Whoop-de-doo! PS3 will outstrip the Xbox 360? No. Come back with some information to compare that with and then I'll be willing to debate this, but until then, as far as I'm concerned, the 360 has the developers, the licenses and the power to out-sell the PS3. And I especially don't trust statistics like these when they've come from a lawyer that has made fraudulent claims and violations ( www.securitiesfraudfyi.com/piper_jaffray.html) Read that - you think we can trust this guy? Pffff, yeah right.

Pffff, yeah right. I remember that... Yes, you make a valid point by bringing it up. Not only does their lack of information coud any chance of estimating accurate sales, but their... past... also warrants some concern, no? I think we can declare this "PS3 to outsell 360" allegation complete rubbish, because, after all, that's exactly what it is...
