I usually get around the top in both score and kill count in most games, but I always have a lot of deaths as well. I don't know why, but this really gets to me. Anyway, barring changing my entire playing style (ie COME GET SOME SHOTGUN ROUNDS!!!) can anybody offer some ideas? I've found that I'm very good with my motion sensor until there are lots of blips in different directions, at which point I don't so much panic as always seem to make the wrong decision. I spose what I'm saying is that when I'm facing enemies from one direction I can handle it, but I don't know what to do when I'm blindsided and surrounded. I would value any help provided.

shadows. thats wat i try to use neways oh, and always run. if someone's chasing you with a rocket launcher jump. i for some reason USUALLY end up with a low death ratio and high kill ratio just kill whoever is trying to kill you really :S but yea, sniping doesnt usually get you killed. its up close with the noobs that they get more lucky shots in lol oh, did i mention? LOL!

I ALWAYS move, which is the main reason I am almost never assassinated except with swords (bloody arena matches...).

Staying alive = don't pick fights Let people come to you. On smaller maps this works with an absolute charm, but on larger maps it can cause your kill count to suffer...

Don't charge down the center either. Go around the sides, because most people will expect charges from the middle.
Also, sneaking is important too, especially in dark areas. be stealthy, like a ninja!

shutup chris. you never sneak. mainly cause by the time your in radar range you are in shotgunnage range, but still i like ryans idea, but the main reason for my usual, USUAL, low deaths is cause i win fights. oh, and im usually way in front of people who have smg's with my sniper rifle just practice. im hell outa practice. dam chris could probably beat me now! actually, maybie not...

Use buildings to your advantage. If you are super good at close combat then put yourself in an area that has only 1 or 2 entries, that way they can only come from thsoe directions. On the otherhand, you only have 1 or 2 escape points, so make sure you take out someone with a rocket launcher first shot.

Buildings = open to 'nades (ie - grenades)

also, don't announce the fact that you're following somebody, especially during team games!
And also (especially for noobs) DON'T STAND STILL!
